| This two day trip is very
popular with the experienced off-roader, or those looking for a bit
more interesting terrain. We travel initially on bitumen and gravel
roads, but the last 25 kilometres or so is through steep washed out
gullys and creeks. The terrain is suited to a first time off-roader,
with our guidance, but should not be attempted in the wet, and
therefore is unavailable November to April. This trip is available only to high clearance four-wheel drives with low range fitted. Our campsite is on the mighty Burdekin river which provides great fishing for Baramundi and Sooty grunter. If you can't bring your own fishing gear, we can provide it. (hire). |
