Training- Off-Road Towing
Off-Road Towing Education

Towing can be a way to enjoy your favorite pastime, whether it be taking the boat to a new fishing spot, getting your horse to competition or caravanning across the country. To tow with safety and confidence, a few basic skills need to be learned.

The one-day towing course has been developed to enable drivers to understand the relationship between car and trailer. This is a very practical course and we progressively build your knowledge and skills so you can venture out confidently and safely with your trailer.

2 Day Tour

Burdekin River Advanced 4WD and Fishing

Suited to only experienced off-road driver and rugged camper trailers.  Not recommended for inexperienced drivers. Steep rugged creek enties and exits.

This two day trip is very popular with the experienced off-roader, or those looking for a bit more interesting terrain. We travel initially on bitumen and gravel roads, but the last 25 kilometres or so is through steep washed out gullys and creeks. The terrain is suited to a first time off-roader, with our guidance, but should not be attempted in the wet, and therefore may be unavailable November to April.
This trip is available only to high clearance four-wheel drives with low range fitted.

Our campsite is on the mighty Burdekin river which provides great fishing for Baramundi and Sooty grunter. If you can't bring your own fishing gear, we can provide it. (hire).
