You Will Need
For full details, download the prebooking information pack for each trip. 4WD Vehicle You must have or hire a suitable vehicle The vehicle must be road worthy  and adequately prepared for the type of travel Simpson desert trips require somewhere between 150 and 200 litres of fuel depending on vehicle Download the prebooking information for each trip for details. We can assist with advice about vehicle preparation. Water Participants should carry 30 litres per adult for desert trips or 20 litres per adult for other long trips We provide additional water aprox 160 litres Food We find most people prefer uncatered trips. Our longer trips are uncatered. Participants must supply their own meals. If you would like catering, please consult with us. It is possible on some trips for a small number of people for additional cost We can help with meal planning, cooking advice, food packing advice. Tent or Swag or Off-road Camper Trailers are not permitted on some trips Suitable bedding for climate Clothing Suitable clothing for climate Toilet Paper and Toiletries We provide a pit toilet and seat and privacy tent when in camp You should carry your own paper for outside camp enroute toileting Normal toiletries such as soap etc Communications Participants wthout UHF Radio may hire units from us. UHF is essential for convoy communications. Tools and Tyre Repair We carry comprehensive tool kit and tyre repair kit. You should carry an additional spare tyre (no wheel required) ie 2 spares. 1 x suitable tube  Recovery Participants must carry their own snatch strap and rated shackles if shackles are required. We carry extra recovery equipment and winch.
